- More than 25 different nationalities from experts in AI participate in the company’s 2018 Datathon

Barcelona, October 23, 2018: At eDreams ODIGEO’s annual Datathon, international experts with more than 25 different nationalities were challenged to create deep learning algorithms focused on image recognition initiatives and thereby improve the personalisation of recommendations for travellers. Experts from eDreams ODIGEO together with international engineers and data scientists worldwide dedicated over 12 hours to develop AI solutions for the recognition of characteristics of more than 4,000 destination images to predict the most suitable type of accommodation for travellers and help tailor their experience when booking a trip.
