eDreams ODIGEO appoints Daniel Setton to its Board of Directors

Barcelona, November 21st 2018 – eDreams ODIGEO (www.edreamsodigeo.com), the largest online travel company in Europe and one of the largest European e-commerce businesses, today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Daniel Setton as Proprietary Director, effective immediately.


Since joining Ardian in 2007, Daniel Setton has been involved in more than ten transactions across France, Belgium, the UK and Spain, currently holding the position of Director in the Ardian Buyout team and being responsible for Buyout financing globally. He participated in the formation of eDreams ODIGEO SA in 2011 and notably in the acquisition of Opodo Limited. He is a graduate from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris (HEC).


The Company is pleased to welcome back Daniel Setton, who brings a formidable track record at Ardian and in the financial industry, which combined with his thorough knowledge of the business and industry, will further strengthen the Board.


This new member of the Board replaces Philippe Poletti, who served as proprietary director at eDreams ODIGEO since 2014. Poletti stepped down as a result of his new responsibilities at Ardian. The Chairman of the Board has thanked Poletti for his contribution and dedication throughout his tenure.


The appointment of Daniel Setton is subject to the approval of the company’s General Shareholders Meeting.
